America One Design RC Yacht

The America One Design (A O N E D) is solely produced by Tom Koop out of his personal workshop. Taking several years to develop, the yachts are now in their final form and are being sold. With 12 now in circulation Tom is looking forward to creating many more. At this time there is only one club the yacht sails in, which is the Sacramento Model Yacht Club. The SMYC (Sacramento Model Yacht Club) promotes the racing of radio-controlled (R/C) sailing yachts. Seven classes of model yachts are raced there.

Tom is hoping to sell more yachts and is looking forward to recognition by the AMYA (American Model Yachting association).
